Anti Racism - Fall 2023
The first session of this forum was be held June 6 2023 and lasted a few weeks
Rev. Lois led us in a systematic evaluation of Black & Episcopalian in preparation for the discussion that night. A generous donor provided copies of the book to all that wanted to participate.

The class revolved around racism and the history of the Episcopal Church. We will discuss the book Black and Episcopalian: the struggle for inclusion by Gayle Fisher Stewart. All questions are appropriate, including all emotions: anger, sadness, disappointment, and frustration.
We are called as people of God to understand our history, confront our sins, forgive ourselves and each other and move forward justly.

Bible Study - Summer 2021
As an Adult Education class Rev. Lois is guiding us through some of the stories in the Apocrypha. Please see below for some reference documents that may be helpful for our interpretation of these passages. Links have been sent to both the Coptic (Orthodox) Bibles as well as the Oxford New Revised Standard Bibles, which both have slightly different wording.
Meetings are every other Monday, and our first session started Monday, July 5th, and will run through Labor Day. Please contact the Office if you are interested in attending future classes via Zoom.
